Summary: Dean’s going to hell and there’s not much left for Sam to do. He can’t figure out how to stop this deal from happening and he has no way to help his brother. That is, until he finds a list his brother has made of all the things he’d like to do before he dies if he had the time. Sam decides the least he can do is make sure all those things are crossed off the list before it’s too late.
What Chris Has to Say: Keep tissues handy. No seriously. Tissues. You will need them. I agree with the authors when they say this is how season three should’ve gone, because yeah, it’s true. This fic is just so beautiful and amazing and jfbgksdfhbg all the good feelings, even though you will cry your heart out, cause we all know how season three ended. And the boys are just perfectly characterized that it makes the all the hurt worth it. A must read for anyone.
And, total side note, avoid the song “What About Now” by Daughtry while reading this. You will thank me later. I promise.
